This is the Classic B-17 Flying Fortress by MicroProse (DOS game).

I putted here, because the engine is great and maybe there are authors who wish to use this source code for creating their own flight sims. A good start to a 3rd Person Game
Alien Storm
Alien Storm is a 3D action game inspired by the old Virus game by David Braben. It`s difficult to take the control of the ship and it may take a while to master controls but it's worth it. There are six levels to complete, with two waves of enemies each. The first one is a `learning to fly` level and with the last one, you`ll have to fight very agressive enemies.

The new year comes, and in the year AD 2261 your side is losing the galactic war. The war is nearing an end now: you are nearly defeated. But you must keep trying! You are one of only a few remaining ships trying to reclaim your galaxy... and you're going to fight for it.
Ace 2 - Marsenary
There are several missions and you can assemble your own space ship.
A good game, but the playfields per mission are rather small.

After Burner Climax
Not really a flightsim as you only can steer and fire, but still worth a download as the graphics and effects are great.
You have to be very quick to avoid the enemy fire.
A very nice game, but too short and after a few minutes it's becoming a bit boring because there is nothing else to do than trying to bring down the enemy aircraft.
Battle Chopper
Battle Chopper is a very difficult older 3D helicopter simulation. You are the pilot of an AH-64 Apache helicopter and your objective is to rescue downed pilots who are behind enemy lines. What makes this game so dificult is that while you are flying you must evade incoming missles from airplanes/helicopters and shoot down these same airplanes/helicopters. Enemies on the ground are shooting at you with shoulder mounted SAMs and armored tanks are also out to get you. Follow the white arrow on the screen to your immediate destination and then land to pick up the downed pilot. You have several different weaponms at your displosal which include a chaingun, stinger and laser guided missles. For counter measures against heat seeking missiles you have flares. You get points for the number of enemies shot down and the number of rescues which you make.
3D Starstrike
This is an improved remake of 3D Starstrike for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum in 1987.

Great graphics, easy controlable, but only one level.
This is an exciting game because it is not difficult to be the third one, but you have to be a superman to beat the number one!
Jagdgeschwader
A dogfight with WW2 airplanes for 2 players only
Jagdgeschwader can only be played with two human players, an AI for computer enemies is not implemented. You can play it either :
* two players on one PC (called "head-to-head") :
The screen get's split horizontally and the players use the controllers that are set in the configuration tool.
* two players over LAN:
One player starts the server and selects airplanes and scenario. After he started the game, the game will wait until the other player will connect as a client.
Search and Rescue
A very nice Flight Simulator game
If you are tired of shooting monstors then this 3D flight simulation might just be just for you. Your job as a US Coast Gaurd helicopter pilot is to recue stranded survivors. The look of the 3D objects is excellent but the ground, sky and water is a little blocky. This game has music and sound effects. If you are familiar with 3D flight games then the main thing to remember is to press F1 for extensive on screen help. For those who want to read the manual it is included in the downloadable no install game file from two of the Caiman servers. From the Search and Rescue home page there is also available for download a scenery editor and a 3D Model Assembler. For editing Search and Rescue 3D Object files. A joystick is optional but the files for the joystick need to be downloaded from http://wolfpack.twu.net/libjsw/
Some features are not implemented (yet) or do not work correctly but this is a simulation with "work in progress."
Blindsight
There are two types of healths. Health which will decrease when you touch the obstacles. And Cyberfield which will decrease if enemies attack you.
There are 3 difficulty levels. However I noticed that game speed various alot depending your PC speed.
GL-117
A nice 3D action flight simulator
You fly missions for the Eagle Squad, which is known for good equipment and the best pilots.
Fly one of the three default planes into a ground strike, frontal convoy attack or a one on one dogfight.
Reaper 3D
A very enjoyable 3D Flight arcade game for 1 or 2 players
Enlisted as a mercenary pilot for a greedy corporation, you are to do whatever is deemed necessary in order to ensure profit...
To clarify some more, it could be classified as a space combat simulator (well, you don't fly in space, you fly much closer to the ground, but you do pilot spaceships, so :).
