Darwin 4081 is an excellent 2D top-view shooter with awesome gameplay and concept.

The storyline in Darwin 4081 is very similar to other top-view shooters. Basically, you start the level shooting small enemies on the screen. At the end of the level, there is a boss to defeat. Killing it brings you to the next level. As stated earlier, the storyline isn't very in-depth, but it is extremely refreshing and unique.
